The Right to Erasure (colloquially established as the Right to be Forgotten) empowers Data Principals to compel data fiduciaries to expunge their personal records.

BizLiveGo fulfills this mandate pursuant to Section 12 of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, Article 17 of the GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA.

Qualifying Statutory Grounds

Users may demand erasure under any of the following statutory thresholds:

• Personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
• The user withdraws affirmative consent and no alternate lawful ground exists.
• The profile data has been unlawfully processed or published without authority.
• Erasure is mandatory to comply with a binding court decree or legal directive.

1. Immediate Link Termination

Upon verification, the target profile URL and dynamic QR routing are severed immediately. Server configurations are updated to return permanent HTTP 404 (Not Found) or 410 (Gone) status codes.

2. Database Purging

Production database rows are subjected to automated purge scripts (`DELETE / DROP`). Media assets (logos, resumes, portfolio PDFs) are permanently expunged from primary cloud object buckets.

3. Cryptographic Erasure

Where disk fragments persist across distributed cloud clusters prior to physical overwriting, encryption keys tied to the user's data shards are destroyed, rendering residual fragments unreadable.

Our privacy office verifies request legitimacy via registered email verification to ensure that competitors or unauthorized actors cannot initiate malicious profile takedowns.

Step 3: Sanitization & SLA

Upon validation, primary database sanitization executes within 7 to 15 working days. An official certificate of erasure completion is delivered to the applicant.

BizLiveGo fulfills verified Right to Erasure requests within 7 to 15 working days from the completion of the identity authentication handshake.

Public profile link resolution is deactivated within hours of validation, ensuring immediate privacy protection while deep database purges proceed.

30-Day Rolling Backup Aging

Encrypted disaster recovery backup snapshots operate on automated rolling schedules.

• Backup snapshots overwrite naturally on a strict 30-day lifecycle.
• Data in backup archives is quarantined from active operations and cryptographically inaccessible.
• Any historical backup restored during disaster recovery automatically re-applies the erasure flag.

Statutory Retention Overrides

The Right to Erasure is not absolute and does not apply to records BizLiveGo is legally required to preserve:

• Tax & Accounting Audits: Invoices, payment IDs, and GST records preserved for up to 8 years under statutory Indian financial law.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Rolling traffic and security logs retained under statutory CERT-In directives.
• Legal Defense & Holds: Transaction records preserved where active chargebacks or litigation exist.

Third-Party Search Engine Results

While data is instantly expunged from BizLiveGo servers, external platforms operate independently:

• Third-party search engines (Google, Bing) clear cached previews according to their independent crawl frequencies.
• BizLiveGo cannot directly force external web archives to purge historical third-party captures.
• De-indexed profiles will naturally drop from search engine result pages over subsequent crawl cycles.
