This Notice applies to the handling of personal information by BizLiveGo regarding individuals located in the Commonwealth of Australia, pursuant to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

BizLiveGo respects the core objective of the Privacy Act: promoting the protection of the privacy of individuals while recognizing the interests of entities in carrying out legitimate functions and commercial activities.

Reasonably Necessary Collection (APP 3)

In accordance with APP 3, BizLiveGo collects personal information solely by lawful and fair means, and only where reasonably necessary for our business functions:

  • Solicited Collection: Account creation, catalog setup, and dynamic QR routing.
  • Anonymity Option (APP 2): Giving individuals the option of interacting pseudonymously where practicable.
  • Direct Marketing (APP 7): Strict opt-in requirements with easy opt-out mechanisms.

Promptly de-identifying or destroying unsolicited personal information that BizLiveGo could not have lawfully collected.

4. Exclusion of Australian Government Identifiers & Sensitive Data

In strict compliance with APP 9 (Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers), BizLiveGo prohibits uploading Australian identity records:

Users and clients are strictly forbidden from uploading:

  • Tax File Numbers (TFN), Medicare card numbers, or Centrelink reference numbers.
  • Australian passport numbers, driver's licence numbers, or Proof of Age cards.
  • Raw banking card CVVs, private banking PINs, or confidential password keys.

Sensitive Information Consent (APP 3.3)

Sensitive information (health data, racial origin, political affiliations):

  • Collected strictly upon explicit affirmative consent and only when reasonably necessary.
  • Elective directory attributes (blood donor networks, biodata) are isolated from commercial marketing tags.
  • Permanently expunged immediately upon user profile deletion.
5. International Routing

How BizLiveGo manages overseas data transfers outside the Commonwealth of Australia:

1. Primary Storage (India)

Primary application databases and user account configurations are hosted in secure, certified cloud clusters in India (Mumbai / Bengaluru regions).

Governed by strict contractual clauses providing equivalent protections.

2. Global Edge CDN (Cloudflare)

Static media files, profile HTML snapshots, and dynamic QR SVG images are cached on Cloudflare's international edge nodes (including Australian edge servers in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane).

Ensures lightning-fast local loading across Australasia.

3. Contractual Due Diligence

Before disclosing personal information overseas, BizLiveGo takes reasonable steps under APP 8.1 to ensure the recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Individual Rights

Access and Correction Protocols (APPs 12 & 13)

Australian users maintain statutory rights to access and correct their records:

  • Self-Service Updates: Edit profile text, catalogs, hours, and media directly in the dashboard.
  • Formal Access Requests: Submit an authenticated ticket to receive an export package of your records.
  • Response Window (7–15 Days SLA): Handled within our standard 7 to 15 working days SLA, well within the 30-day statutory ceiling.
  • Zero Cost: Access and correction requests are fulfilled 100% free of charge.
7. Data Security

Security & Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB)

BizLiveGo maintains an active security posture under APP 11 and the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme:

  • Technical Safeguards: TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 for data at rest, and Cloudflare WAF protection.
  • Eligible Data Breaches: If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, BizLiveGo assesses the incident within 30 days and notifies the OAIC and affected individuals.
  • Disposal: Taking reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal data once no longer needed.
8. Dispute Resolution

Step 1: Internal Complaint

Submit a written complaint to our Privacy Officer at support@bizlivego.com. Include details of the alleged breach of the Australian Privacy Principles.

Step 2: Investigation & SLA

Our Privacy Officer investigates the matter, acknowledging receipt within 24 to 48 hours and issuing a formal written resolution within 30 calendar days.

Step 3: OAIC Recourse

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you have the statutory right to escalate the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
